A word about Advisors

Plan sponsors may choose to use a local Registered Investment Advisor who is a member of the TIAA-CREF Advisor Network to offer the Connections solution to participants. A local advisor may help plan sponsors provide on-site counseling, education and advice for participants. In addition, they may offer fiduciary support, including investment menu construction. All local advisors working with plan sponsors utilizing TIAA-CREF’s Connections retirement plan solution should be part of the TIAA-CREF Advisor Network. The Advisor Network is one of the first programs that offers plan sponsors the opportunity to work with pre-screened advisors directly through a plan provider. For plan sponsors this means they have direct access to pre-screened advisors who may help them with fiduciary responsibilities and can offer plan education and communication and participant investment advice.
