TIAA-CREF Names Georganne C. Proctor, Chief Integration Officer

TIAA-CREF today named Georganne C. Proctor to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Integration Officer, a newly created role. She will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer while the company initiates a search for her successor.
The Chief Integration Officer will be responsible for leading TIAA-CREF’s work to institute, refine and integrate processes across the enterprise to assure a holistic client experience and promote efficiency and ease of doing business.

Prior to joining TIAA-CREF in 2006, Ms. Proctor was chief financial officer and a director of Bechtel Group, Inc., where she oversaw a series of global strategic planning, financial and operational improvements.
