We are pleased to offer you the following options to enroll in your
Amherst College Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

NOTE: When completing the enrollment application, please note the following under the SELECT YOUR ALLOCATION section:

  • If you are eligible to receive employer contributions, you MUST choose fund allocations applicable to the Retirement Choice contract, or your employer contributions will be defaulted to the age appropriate T. Rowe Price Lifecycle Fund. Please note that there is a 2 year eligibility requirement to receive College contributions, unless the eligibility requirement was waived entirely, or partially due to prior service credit.
  • You may direct your employee contributions to either a Retirement Choice or Retirement Choice Plus contract. If you direct employee contributions to the Retirement Choice Plus contract, please choose fund allocations applicable to the Retirement Choice Plus contract. These allocations may be different than your Retirement Choice allocations.


Have the following information available before you enroll online:

  • Your investment allocations selected from your investment choices.
  • Your Social Security number.
  • Your beneficiary's Social Security number, birth date and address.

Please choose the applicable option to enroll:

  • If you would like to enroll and make employee contributions ONLY at any point prior to or after becoming eligible for the employer contribution, please choose either the Retirement Choice Plus OR the Retirement Choice link to direct your employee contributions to the contract of your choosing.
  • If you are eligible for the employer contribution (satisfied the 2 year eligibility requirement), and want to make employee contributions as well, you can enroll in the both contracts at the same time, by selecting this link Retirement Choice Plus and Retirement Choice contracts where you can allocate money for both the employee and employer contributions (if you haven’t previously done so).
  • If you are eligible for an employer contribution (satisfied the 2 year eligibility requirement) and would like to enroll for employer contributions ONLY, please select the Retirement Choice link.


Follow these instructions to enroll using a paper form:

  2. Complete and sign the forms.
  3. Mail the forms to:
