We're pleased to offer you online enrollment in your City University of New York retirement plans. It's the fastest and easiest way to enroll.

Before you enroll, have the following information available:

• Your investment allocation amounts/percentages for your investment choices.
• Your Social Security number.
• Your beneficiary's Social Security number, birth date and address.

Next, select the plan(s) in which you are eligible to enroll (CUNY employees can enroll in both plans at once or in one plan at a time, if eligible):

CUNY RETIREMENT PLANS

Employer Plan – CUNY Optional Retirement Plan

• CUNY Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) - Open this account to make your mandatory contribution and to receive an 8% faculty or staff member contribution from the state under the CUNY Optional Retirement Plan.

Voluntary Plan - CUNY

• Voluntary Savings Plan CUNY Voluntary Savings Plan (GSRA) -  You contribute a fixed-dollar amount per pay period (CUNY does not contribute to this plan). Enrollment is open to faculty and staff members.

Employer Plan and Voluntary Plan

• CUNY Optional Retirement Plan and CUNY Voluntary Savings Plan (GSRA) - Open this account to make your mandatory contribution under the CUNY Optional Retirement Plan and to establish a Voluntary Savings Plan for making additional, non-matching contributions.
