REQUIRED FORMS

You must complete the university's Retirement Election Form if you are choosing the University of Iowa Defined Contribution as your retirement plan.
 
You are required to complete a Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA) for the Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan. An SRA allows automated, pre-tax contributions from your paycheck directly to your plan

Upon completion, submit all forms to the University Benefits Office and complete the online enrollment process below, to open an account with TIAA-CREF.

Have the following information available before you enroll online:

  • Your investment allocation amounts/percentages for your investment choices.
  • Your Social Security number.
  • Your beneficiary's Social Security number, birth date and address.
