Equinix, Telecity Benefits Seen Lower Vs Interxion Deal -- Market Talk

05/29/2015 9:11 AM ET
1311 GMT The financial benefits arising between the merger of Equinix and Telecity require more clarity and are seen as lower than that afforded by a previously-agreed combination, now terminated, of Telecity and Interxion says Citi analyst Michael Rollins. "We will look for more details on potential synergy realization" he says. "We expect synergy realization to be smaller than the amounts highlighted by Telecity and Interxion given Equinix management's prior comments on the challenges to extract synergy and the company's past experience with some of its deals through which the ambitions for cost cutting disrupted [...] sales." Telecity shares are down 0.2% at 1088p. (simon.zekaria@wsj.com; @SimonZekaria)

UPDATE: Flood or trickle? Course of U.S. economy's rebound murky

05/24/2015 12:04 PM ET
The engines of the U.S. economy are sure to fire back up. What's still a mystery is just how much. That would be a carbon copy of the feast-or-famine growth pattern that occurred in 2014.
